McFly To Give Album Away For Free

McFly are set to target their next album at Middle England by giving it away free with the Mail On Sunday.

Entitled 'Radio:ACTIVE', the album will be available with the newspapers July 20 edition.

Speaking to the BBC singer Tom Fletcher said the band were trying to reach a new audience with the release away from their typical teen fanbase.

He explained: “We get to put it into almost three million homes, which is an incredible opportunity for us.

"Hopefully the three million people will all enjoy the music and they'll decide to see us when we go on tour."

The band recently started their own label, Super Records, who will release the album conventionally in September.

Exhausted Blige Scraps Australian Tour

MARY J BLIGE has cancelled what was to be her first Australasian tour, citing exhaustion.
The weary R+B star, who is currently performing dates in Britain, will not be making the trip to Australia this weekend as planned, for shows that were billed to start in Perth on 10 June (08).
Instead, the dates in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Auckland and Wellington in New Zealand will now take place in November (08).
In a statement released on Friday (06Jun08), tour promoter Michael Chugg said he accepted Blige was too tired to make the trip Down Under at this time.
He reveals Blige's "overwhelming tour schedule" has left her desperate for a rest and he agreed it would not be feasible to proceed with the tour as planned.
He explains, "We won't risk health complications or undue stress for the artist."
Meanwhile, in a separate statement, Blige says, "I am so disappointed that I won't be able to make it to Australia and New Zealand for the June tour as planned.
"I want to thank all of my wonderful fans who supported the announcement of my first tour in these countries and I can't tell you how excited I was to come down in June and put on a show for you all. Postponing these shows has been an extremely difficult decision for me and I am sincerely sorry that I will not be able to fulfil my tour commitments."

Chaka Khan - Khan Supporting Son In Rehab

CHAKA KHAN is standing by her son DAMIEN as he recovers in a rehab centre after allegedly killing his friend by accident, insisting he will one day be able to "live a good life".

In what Khan believes was a tragic accident, her son Damien Holland shot dead Christopher Bailey, 17, with an assault rifle during a 2004 argument in the singer's Los Angeles home.

Khan testified daily during the ensuing 2006 trial in support of her son, who was eventually acquitted.

And the R+B star insists she is continuing to support him as he undergoes psychological treatment at a U.S. facility.

She says, "With God's grace and God's help, at the trial the truth came out. But for Damien, there's a lot of pain and guilt, and he's been coping with that for the last couple of years.

"Right now, he's in rehab and getting all the spiritual and psychological help he will need. He's getting his tool belt full as I did, so that he can live a good and purposeful life of service and come out of that, and be able to live. Because it's tough when you feel responsible for the life of somebody else."

Anne Heche's Ex: Check Please

Anne Heche has sealed the deal on her divorce war, and we know who's paying what.
Anne Heche: Click to view!
According to the order signed today, "the case is settled." Now the damage. Anne will pay Coley Laffoon $3,700 a month in child support. Sounds like a lot, but here's the deal. Anne was shelling out $14,798 a month, but went back to court recently and pleaded poverty since her show was canceled and she wasn't working much.

Anne will pay 75% of Homer's private school tuition and Coley pays the balance. She was paying all of it before.

Oh yeah, that pesky lump sum settlement. Anne's gotta pay $275,000. That's gotta hurt, because Anne filed papers last month claiming she's $364,000 in the hole and only has $34,840.93 in her bank account.

The first striation signed to Marilyn Manson's label, Posthuman Records, the industrial peasant band Godhead experient a kick start to their vocation after age of unrelenting touring and playing in the resistance scene in their native town of Washington, D.C. Their aggressive, industrial heavy caught the attention of Manson and the band landed a slot on Manson's 2000 international God, Guns, and Government go. Manson acted as executive manufacturer and oversaw ontogeny of the band's Posthuman debut, the 2000 release 2000 Years of Human Error.

2000 Years is the one-fourth album from this hard rock/metal band. Godhead has released ternion independent albums: Godhead (1994), Nullity (1996), and Power Tool Stigmata (1998). 2000 Years was produced by Danny Saber (Contraband Sabbath, U2, Rolling Stones) and motley by John X Volaitis (Orgy, Marilyn Manson, Korn). The album displays Godhead's religious and social discontent and exhibits the intense electronic and rock combinations of lead singer/guitarist Jason Miller, bassist and coder the Method, guitarist Mike Miller, and drummer James O'Connor. On the album, Godhead likewise does a dark, macabre cover of the Beatles' Eleanor Rigby. David Bowie's longtime guitarist Reeves Gabrels was a noteworthy guest on the album. Manson lent his vocals to "Break You Down," while Gabrels co-produced and played guitar on the track, "Tired Old Man." Godhead has likewise toured with bands like GWAR, Genitorturers, and Christian Death.
